Why the Blog?

So I started this blog about two months ago, and this is my first post.  Life sometimes consumes your time.  I am a mother of 3 beautiful children (soon to be 4), married to my best friend, and living in a small town in Southern Alberta, Canada.  We are in the process of adopting a baby boy (0-2) from the Democratic Republic of Congo.  That is the main reason why I am starting this blog.  For the last 4 months my life has been consumed with paper work, medicals, HIV & hepatitis tests, going to courses, filling out forms to prove I am Canadian, self reports and home studies.  I just found out a few days ago that we are #15 on the waiting list to receive our child referral!  I'm not really sure what that means for us as far as when we will be able to meet and bring home our son.  What I do know is that all I can do now is sit and wait and pray.  Hence the blog - where I can pore out my heart!
